about

This is a live studio recording that was done after we had done the main recording for the album. It's kind of the sibling to Don't Ask Why in the way that Sundancer and Dance With Me are siblings.

lyrics

Turn me off, turn me on
Tell me when to sing along
Tell me anything you want and I’ll comply

Turn me in, turn me out
Tell me what it’s all about
I have to find my peace before I die

When standing up is just like falling to the ground
It’s plain to see
Well, things to seem to mean that much to me
Take me home wherever that may be
Take me home, take me home, take me home, take me home

I’ve played so many cards I just don’t know the ones I’ve played
It’s such a shame it’s just a game

How the hell did I get here
There’s no pain and there’s no fear
Maybe it’s fate, but that can wait

When standing up is just like falling to the ground
It’s plain to see
Well, things to seem to mean that much to me
Take me home wherever that may be

Take me home

Now home is where the heart is, well at least that’s what they say
But I’m at sea while my old heart is on dry land
Like standing with your eyes closed on a beach trying to find a grain of sand

Take me home….
